Restaurants, bars and pubs in Gdansk

A lot of you have been asking for recommendations for restaurants, pubs, and bars in Gdansk so I thought I would try to put all of our favorites down in one place. Keep in mind that we were only in Gdansk for a long weekend so we did not really have all the time in the world to visit a great number of restaurants.

We tried a lot of different types of food when we visited Gdansk, so it all depends on what you are craving at the moment but if you are anything like me and want to try all of it… here we go: If you are looking for Polish pirogi you should definitely try out Stary Mlyn and try their owen baked pirogi, Havana in Gdansk for some great quesadillas and cocktails, amazing greek food at Mykonos, and for the best steak I would say visit Billys.

For breakfast, I would point you in the direction of Chleb i wino which was my personal favorite due to their amazing eggs on waffles, or maybe Ducha 66 for eggs on yeast bread but if you are more into the buffet feeling I would recommend that you try out Mono Kitchen.

And below you’ll find a variety of different places that we recommend for just cocktails, wine, a bit of pub feeling, and of course – mulled wine. As we visited Gdansk late in November 2022, it was quite cold, so drinks like mulled wine with raspberries or tea with rum were perfect.
